About a week after I met Colin he invited me over for a dinner party and I met his friends and parents. He made spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread. After dinner, he played Ohio for us on his guitar and sang it perfectly. I was in awe. Afterwards he gave me a cd of some music he had recorded.

I didn’t realize it for years, but was the moment I fell in love with him. We were strictly friends for a year before we ever dated but I think somewhere in my subconscious, I knew all I along that we were meant to be.
